Well, I already missed a links post, and while I am disappointed, I will not dwell on it too long. The past week was busy, and while this post could be a roundup of all the PlayStation State of Play announcements, I will share the other things I enjoyed.
I returned to making Let’s Play videos this week. Thank you to the developer and Keymailer for providing a code for Costa Verde Transport Department. I hope you enjoy me fumbling through a few rounds of the game, which I enjoyed quite a bit. The puzzle aspect is right up my alley. And please subscribe over on YouTube if you haven’t done so yet.
Game Summary
A new city is emerging on the vibrant shores of Costa Verde, but the citizens need help: someone must build the roads for them! Luckily, they have you: the head of the city’s Transport Department. The growing city expands in all directions. People drive from home to work and back, industrial trucks transport resources between manufacturers, and you have to plan the road network for the city carefully!
The main gameplay consists of planning & building a road network for the growing city. You have to carefully plan the roads to balance the city traffic and obtain valuable resources that help you progress. Sooner or later, your roads won’t be enough: you’ll have to build detours, roundabouts, bridges, and use some magic!
It is Steam Next Fest, and thanks to Frozen District, I had the chance to play the House Flipper 2 Demo early. Check out the video below for my first look impressions of the game.
Disclosure: I received a free review copy of this product from https://keymailer.co
Ahead of the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom release in early June, I recorded my playthrough of the prologue quest line. I found it to be shorter than prologue quests of the past, but it does a good job of holding the player’s attention and setting up the story of the next expansion.
TerraScape is a puzzle game, city builder, and card game all rolled into one. It is like Islanders and Dorfromantik merged into a single game. While it sounds like a lot, it works extremely well.
Bitfall Studios, the developer of the game, asks, “Ever wanted a board game to come to life?”. They are not joking. With the option for single or multiplayer, it feels this way, even in early access. A detailed roadmap of development adds to the value of this game. It is a great gaming experience already, with lots to look forward to in the future.
TerraScape is a special one. The game is available on Steam right now, and check out the video below for gameplay.
In my newest Let’s Play on YouTube video, I check out Going Medieval from Foxy Voxel and Irregular Corporation.
I spent a few hours playing Going Medieval this weekend, and it felt like 15 minutes. I haven’t made a dent in it, and I love it already. The video is a sample of the first 45-minutes of gameplay.
