In September 2021, I left the Twitch Affiliate Program for good. It is super easy to do. It took me less than an hour to complete the process.
If you are close to a payout and planning to leave, I advise waiting for the payout and leaving after the money is in your bank.
If you leave before a payout, you forfeit the money.

I will never fault a studio or publisher for waiting to release a game. This is why I will not look at my most anticipated games for the year but instead focus on the next few months and the video games I plan to play between now and the end of February.

My gaming experience in 2023 was a wild ride that I did not expect. I started the year excited about Fire Emblem Engage but dropped it halfway through when the kid wasn’t a fan of tactical combat. They were five-and-a-half. I realized early on that the year would be dictated by what games we could play together. This realization made for a wonderful and expansive year in gaming.
