Hi, everyone. Hope your week went as well as it could. While mine got away from me, there were still a few new updates on the blog. Fireshine Games previewed their year ahead. A big news update dropped for New Cycle, an indie I am looking forward to. Cult of the Lamb teased us with Sins of the Flesh, while one of my top games from 2022, IMMORTALITY, announced it is arriving on PS5.
It is good to have the blog updated again, but this is about the rest of the web and the stories from others. And it is difficult to not talk about this week without addressing all the job cuts. Unity laying off 25% of its staff. Twitch, cutting over 35% of its staff. Discord, also did a round of layoffs. These are some big numbers around gaming and tech, and I have the sense we are only going to see more.
It’s time to get to the links.

Podcast: Creature Cast has another solid review of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown if you want to go more in-depth with the game and discussion.
Video: I love a good resource management game. This video from Miss Management is a wonderful preview of indie games to expect in the next year.
Trailer: Nintendo is not calling it in with the features for Mario vs Donkey Kong. It looks like it is going to be another fun romp with the plumber and the big guy.
