Halo Infinite Review | Campaign First Impressions

Access to ‘Halo Infinite’ provided to me by Microsoft/Xbox Canada for preview & review

Sometimes unexpected things happen. I have never considered myself a video game reviewer, yet for the last week, I’ve spent my time trying not to kill Master Chief in Halo Infinite repeatedly. Yes. I am writing a Halo Infinite Review. Someone pinch me.

The review is after the jump but, I want to preface with this: reviewing a video game is hard. It is even more challenging when your job is a stay-at-home parent. I did not get as much time with Halo Infinite as I wanted. My review is from the first five hours of the campaign.

Forza Horizon 5 Review: Initial Impressions

In early May, shortly after securing a Series S, I downloaded Forza Horizon 4 to give it a try. I had never played a Forza game before. My car-obsessed four-year-old saw me playing it, and it quickly became my most played game in May (and every month since) thanks to him wanting to watch me race. When E3 footage was released for Forza Horizon 5 in June, the game quickly jumped to my most anticipated game for 2021.

Forza Horizon 5 is everything I hoped it would be after seeing the footage earlier this year. From the opening sequence of driving down an active volcano in a 2021 Ford Bronco to cruising through the desert with the sun setting smashing cactus, there is something familiar yet new to the entire experience.

London Hacking | Watch Dogs: Legion First Impressions

Disclosure: Today is launch day for Watch Dogs: Legion and, thanks to Ubisoft Canada, I was provided an early access review copy to explore and promote through my stream and social channels.

Watch Dogs: Legion, while a game I was curious about but not one I was necessarily hyped to play. The original never connected with me back in 2014, despite pre-ordering the digital deluxe version. I tried to get into the world but it never felt right. Because of this, I skipped the second release entirely. When a review copy showed up in my email, I took it as a sign of a fresh start with the franchise.

Warcraft add-ons for efficient Pet Battles

I love pet battles in World of Warcraft. I enjoy them enough to level one character (my mage) exclusively by pet battles. They are fun and a nice change of pace. You don’t need to have 600 pets to be competitive. But, just like with alts, there are ways to be more efficient and make the best use of your time.
