Fireshine Games in 2024: The Year Ahead
Fireshine Games has quite the lineup arriving in 2024, including two of my most anticipated Steam releases in REKA and Odinfall.
There is much to watch this upcoming year, whether it be the sandbox sensation Core Keeper arriving on console this summer or beginning an enchanting journey with your magical walking cottage in REKA. Perhaps leading an adorable team of monsters into battle with Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers is more your style. You can walk the path of a Soldner in Gestalt: Steam & Cinder, prepare to battle future Ragnarok in Odinfall or defend your toad town in Toads of the Bayou.
Plus, the 1.0 releases of the award-winning detective sim Shadows of Doubt and deckbuilding city builder These Doomed Isles are also arriving later this year.

The January Xbox Game Pass Update was revealed this morning, and the games coming this month increase the value of the subscription even more. The addition of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Resident Evil 2, two significant AAA titles, makes this month one of the best in a while.
The Games to Start 2024
I am learning not to get ahead of myself with excitement and anticipation for upcoming video games. Delays are a part of the process. I will never fault a studio or publisher for waiting to release a game. This is why I will not look at my most anticipated games for the year but instead focus on the next few months and the video games I plan to play between now and the end of February.
